Yarrr! Thar be fabric!

Ahoi mateys!

This week I have voyaged on the seas of both online and in store. Jolly adventures were had and a pirate's booty made its way back to my house...

Yarrrrr- thar be today's haul!

Some simple cottons of which one I was told was black is actually brown black *grump*; some scurvy ridden acetate; a new marking pen; and a FRENCH CURVE! She's a buxom curvy wench that will assist greatly in drafting my puffy shirts and pantaloons!

Today's Haul

The following arrived on the king tide last week and was a sight for these land starved eyes. A cute as a button polka dot cotton (already seen as a belt) and some gorgeous maple leaves which are forming the basis of my autumn wardrobe. I can see a saucy pirate bandana happening soon...

Online Delivery

Torn from a kraken's grasp were these patterns. There may be some more from my favourite lass Colette but I am also dallying with Sewaholic and Papercut. Yarrrr!

Patternpalooza

Finally, I overcame the siren's song of the homewares at a local op shop to uncover this old curtain. She be a fine looking cloth with great potential!

Have you, gentle readers, caught any white whales of fantastic sewing purchases lately? I live to hear your glorious tales...
