So ladies and gents, I present you with Amanda: The Sewing Rampage part one. Two Colette Sorbettos sewn last night (okay, I finished the sleeve hems on one of them this afternoon but still a fine effort I feel). Based on my other Sorbetto efforts I lengthened the pattern by 4 cm so I can tuck it into shorts/skirts and added cap sleeves. Please excuse the sketchy dining table night shots. I'll try and get some photos of these whilst I'm wearing them on the weekend.
Sorbetto One:
Check out the close up of the I Heart Sorbettos top (you come back for my ridiculously lame jokes, admit it)
And you know I have to close up this bad boy. EPIC COLOURED TINY HOUSES!
I have also cut out the wool for a pair of Iris shorts. And in true Amanda style, they're bright. Nothing says epic like fuchsia wool with tiny love heart pockets.
Tomorrow night I'm hoping to knock into the Iris shorts and make some progress there so stay tuned. Two holiday pieces down, several to go.

Cute sorbettos, and oh my, those shorts are going to be spectacular!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Zo! I can't wait to sew these shorts. I have grand plans to make the inside look fancy...
