I was home sick today and consoled myself with trying out a muslin for Colette Patterns new Iris shorts between spates of lying on the couch with the dogs and cat. The muslin turned out kinda rocking so I'm going to finish this bad boy off and wear it to derby. For the final version I'm going to add an inch or so in length and that is it. I am so ridiculously impressed with the fit of these- I feel like they have been tailored for mah butt. Pattern. Win.
Warning: my pasty winter legs and crazy Ikea curtain fabric make this a wee bit confronting for the faint hearted...
Hopefully the rain will clear tomorrow and I can get some snaps of my Violet muslin/epic new shirt that is going to blow your mind. Polka dot collar, people. Polka dot collar.
